Ami Aguiar


Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ami Riley has always has a creative mind and began her artistic journey when she was just a child. She had a natural talent for drawing and painting, and was drawn to all forms of Art, especially dance. She has been training in all the Classic Dance forms for over 25 years. She has studied under and trained with some of the Industry’s finest teachers and choreographers. At age 16, Ami was chosen to participate in the Super Bowl XXXIII Half Time show where she performed with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Gloria Estefan, & Stevie Wonder & Tap Phenom Savion Glove.

Ami has successfully crossed over from being a talented dancer, to an accomplished teacher and choreographer who continues to grow & educate herself in all the latest new styles and techniques. In 2002 she choreographed a piece for the 2002 Film Festival in Miami Beach. Set apart by her stylized choreography, Ami consistently receives local & national recognition for its innovation and her “out-of-the-box” style. An exciting personal achievement for Ami was being selected for the Season 7 Las Vegas auditions for the popular show, “So You Think You Can Dance”. The season premiered on May 27, 2010, with the Miami tryouts, where Ami was featured for her beautiful technique & unique dance style.


In 2008, Ami dared to chase her dream of opening a studio where she could inspire young dancers to ignite their passion for dance. Artistic Soul Studios was one of Miami’s premier places to train. During it’s 9 years of business, Ami began dabbling in Photography and Graphic Design, and discovered a hidden talent and new passion. Ami has successfully made a name for herself as a reputable and versatile young artist, and continues to flourish in all her creative endeavors.
