Casey Rosenberg was born and raised in Miami, FL where she began exploring different outlets to pursue her love of dance. Growing up she trained in various styles of dance under Amanda Tae, and started teaching and choreographing at the young age of 15. While attending the University of Miami, Casey danced for the Miami Heat Dancers for three seasons. She held a leadership position on the HEAT Dancers, has choreographed several pieces for them to date, and has had the opportunity to travel with the team to countries such as the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Her travels have also taken her to Trinidad and Tobago, when she partnered with the US Embassy to be an international guest judge for a dance competition. Casey has had the opportunity to dance with several recording artists such as Jennifer Lopez, J Balvin and Reykon. She has also spent time working as the head coach for the Marlins Mermaids and interim coach for the Miami Heat Dancers. In 2019 she established her company, Casey Rosenberg Choreography and Consulting, LLC. This led to her partnering with Bacardi USA to help lead in designing the program curriculum and choreography for the Rum Shakers Dance Competition throughout multiple cities. Most recently, she was the assistant choreographer for the Gavin Degraw Orange Bowl halftime performance and had the opportunity to work with Jaquel Knight and dance for Shakira in the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show in her home town. In 2020 Casey started her new company, Immersion Dance Experience, a company that aims to prepare dancers for every facet of the professional dance world. Casey continues to teach and choreograph throughout the United States for various schools, studios and programs, and hopes to keep expanding her reach as a teacher and choreographer.

Casey has committed herself to growth as a working professional beyond the dance world as well. After earning a degree in Public Relations and minor in Sociology from the University of Miami, she went on to work for a neurosurgeon for two years. In her experience managing a major medical practice, she learned valuable lessons in messaging, customer service, business development, fundraising and leading a group of people with different roles and skill sets for a common purpose. She then accepted a position as the Business Development and Communications Manager for an apparel brand, where she lead all major components of setting up a business’ infrastructure including: product production, social media, brand photoshoots, bookkeeping and finances, strategic business development and marketing. The two years running her own business have inspired her to go back to graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her ultimate goal is to take the vulnerability and expression dancers experience while in class or rehearsal, and merge it with modalities and techniques to nurture and care for the mental health of dancers.
